We ask the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to help single mothers of Nateete (Uganda) - 

Dear UN High Commissioner for Human Rights,

We live in a world dominated by greed and cruelty. We defenders of human rights are committed every day, without any support, to ease the pain of the persecuted. Around us, many social organizations receive funds, but waste them or use them for purposes that are not humanitarian. That money is sacred, because it is a vital resource for the poor, the sick, the marginalized, the victims. We believe that social justice, equality and peace between peoples will not be possible until someone will steal the food of the poor, until someone will use inappropriately the resources necessary to save human life. The activist of EveryOne Group Morena La Rosa went to live in Uganda, to help the poor and marginalized social groups. Morena has seen so much waste and many injustices. But Morena met in Nateete (Kampala) a small association, with no support from the institutions, called SMOCSA (Single Mothers & Child Support Agency. SMOCSA is formed by two women: Maria Bravo and Solomè. These women help single mothers, victims of violence, abuse and abandoned by their husbands. SMOCSA, with its with its two founders, humble and courageous, represents the spirit of Christmas, of solidarity, of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We ask that the High Commissioner to help Mary, Salomè and all the single mothers of the association SMOCSA. We ask that the High Commissioner not to leave these women alone, but to reach out to them, because they deserve it.

Il Gruppo EveryOne chiede all'Alto Commissario Onu per i Diritti Umani di aiutare le ragazze madri di Nateete (Uganda)

Caro Alto Commissario Onu per i Diritti Umani,

viviamo in un mondo dominato dall'avidità e dalla crudeltà. Noi difensori dei diritti umani ci impegniamo tutti i giorni, senza alcun supporto, per alleviare il dolore dei perseguitati. Intorno a noi, tante organizzazioni ricevono fondi sociali, ma li sprecano o li utilizzano per scopi che non sono umanitari. Quei soldi sono sacri, perché sono le risorse per i poveri, i malati, gli emarginati, le vittime. Noi crediamo che la giustizia sociale, l'uguaglianza e la pace fra i popoli non saranno possibili, finché qualcuno ruberà il pane dei poveri, finché qualcuno userà senza criterio le risorse necessarie a salvare la vita umana. L'attivista del Gruppo EveryOne Morena La Rosa è andata a vivere in Uganda, per aiutare i gruppi sociali emarginati e indigenti. Morena ha visto tanti sprechi e tante ingiustizie. Però Morena ha anche incontrato - in localià Nateete -  una piccola associazione, senza alcun sostegno da parte delle Istituzoni, che si chiama SMOCSA (Single Mothers & Child Support Agency. La SMOCSA è formata da due donne: Maria Bravo e Solomè. Queste donne aiutano le ragazze madri, vittime di violenze, soprusi e abbandonate dai loro mariti. La SMOCSA, con le sue direttrici umili e coraggiose, rappresenta lo spirito del Natale, della solidarietà, della Dichiarazione Universale dei Diritti Umani. Chiediamo all'Alto Commissario di aiutare Maria, Salomè e le ragazze madri dell'associazione SMOCSA. Chiediamo all'Alto Commissario di non lasciare sole queste donne, ma di tendere loro la mano, perché lo meritano.
